The Beit Shmayah Rabbinical College was established 41 years on the initiative of Mr. Moshe Reichman ז"ל who was involved in the sustenance of Torah among the Jewish nation in any place that he was able to.

His aspiration was to establish a super yeshiva, a yeshiva that educates future Torah giants, leaders of communities among Jews of eastern origin, both in Israel and outside of it. And indeed, with Heavenly assistance the Yeshiva educated thousands of young men, among them rabbis, heads of yeshivos and of kollels in Israel and outside of it (France Mexico, USA, etc.).

The current enrollment is 500 from the age of 17 until marriage, with a full-service dormitory, including Shabbat and Yom Tov.
